Lions Draft QLD Ruckman

Just read on the afl site that the Lions will draft 17 year old Jamie Charman from Nudgee College, which means that the lions will lose their 29th draft pick. Hasn't anyone seen this kid play? He was in the all australian under 18 team and played for the Northern Eagles.

Blacky_chick20, I agree with you about having a few too many ruckman. One must wonder about the decision to get rid of Matthew Clarke for "team balance" reasons. We only had Keating and McDonald at that time, and Beau had only played 1 or 2 games. Now we've got Beau, Knobel, Keating, Charman, Carey and you could also through in Cooper.

I totally agree with u there! to many ruckman not enough little blokes (well.. maybe not)

with the exception that Matthew Clarke wanted to go home, I wish he wouldn't have.

I don't think that is very wise getting so many ruckmen. Surely the more you have the less you can develop of the others. i.e. less game time because sharing it round.

We could fill the bench with ruckmen
