With Cream a very close second and The Clash third. How could I rate Cream and The Clash below Custard, well there is only one dave McCormack in the world.

I'm gonna finally give into your consistent pluging of Custard and listen to an album. Which one should I listen to? 'Goodbye Cruel World: The Best Of
Custard' was the obvious choice, but, I uh, can't 'find it' anywhere. (feel free to help a brother out with this...;)) so where should my starting block be, brother PP?

Nice. I think that you should enjoy their music. Goodbye Cruel World is a good place to start as it is their best of. I would also recommend: Wahooti Fandango, Wisenheimer, We Have the Technology and Loverama (actually that is pretty much all their albums). I would say start at We Have the Technology as it demonstrates their full repertoire, although I am unsure where one can download full albums for free. However, these live sets are free to download and so just start here (download the first three live sets as these are Custard, the others are Dave's other musical ventures that are also friggen sweet).

Have you listened to Tame Impala? Very much like a young Cream. Watch this space.

Awesome. On a related note, Dave also has these awesome backyard performances up on youtube. They are just from some barbeque get-together. The man just loves to perform.

No, I have not listened to Tame Impala. I will keep a look out for them. :thumbsu: I have the dvds of Cream's last performance at Royal Albert Hall and also their reunion performances in 2005 at Royal Albert Hall. They are epic. Clapton is God.
Clapton is God.Agreed.
I only own Unplugged(as well as a few singles on iTunes), so I could only name a few songs, but I always have time to listen to him. I once saw a late-night jam sessions with a few other musicians on ABC; it's so easy to get caught up in the music.

Creed make my ears bleed. they are like Nickelback in that i think they have only ever recorded 1 song, but they manage to rename it and sell it as a new single to be thrashed by radio stations.
