Couldn't see a thread on this.
Ive been looking forward to seeing this movie for a while. The name Ryan Reynolds and 'Director of Superbad' makes me think it will be pretty good. Even if i thought it would be garbage i would probably still watch just for Kirsten Stewert :thumbsu:.
Anyways a DVD screener has just leaked on torrents for any criminals out there who want to see it ;)

Just finished watching it then... weird... what a coincidence.
Anyway, not a bad movie.
Didn't really enjoy it overall, but it has it's moments.
Don't expect too much from Ryan Reynolds.
I liked it. Cute love story....a bit different. Subtle humour. Good movie.
Good movie.
Had a release of about three weeks in Australia.
Ryan Renolds doesn't really have a starring role, more of a supporting character.
I think its funny that the main guy in this movie (Jesse Eisenberg) is also in an upcoming movie called Zombieland..... :p
Bonus points to anyone who is able to spot Hyde (Danny Masterson) from that 70s show in the movie :D

I really enjoyed this, reminded me a bit of Freaks and Geeks.

Pretty much this. I was expecting more considering the critical hype, but it's good for what it is. The "from the director of Superbad" hook is bound to lead to some disappointed punters, though.
to be honest I thought it would be funnier. More a drama than a comedy IMO. Well acted though.

I agree. I saw it on a Qantas flight a couple of weeks ago and was expecting something Eurotrip-esque from the description but was pleasantly surprised to find a movie that while funny also had some heart.

Caught this one at the movies (during its blink and youd miss it run) and very much enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it. :thumbsu::thumbsu:
I hate it when movies are advertisers uses things like "from the directors of"
I always figure its crap and they are just going to use the other movie to get people in.

Wasn't a great film or a bad film. Just lulled in between.

I enjoyed it, not what I was expecting but I'm glad that it wasn't because it's good to see something with a little heart every now n then. Twilight girl much hotter in this movie, but still has weird facial expressions lol.
Very good film, but why have "from the director of Superbad" on the cover when it's nothing like it? Just asking for confusion and people expecting it to be something it's not.

Sorry to bring this thread back up but I can't make new threads.
Just watched it on Movie One. Thought it was a good movie. Kristen and Margarita are seriously hot in this movie. The ending was a bit predictable but tbh I was hoping it would end like that. Overall I enjoyed it but was made better by those two actors. Remember watching Margarita in The Invisible and loved her in that. Didn't realise it was her until the credits at the end.
Also caught it last night and enjoyed it. Really had no idea what to expect, as I had not heard of it before. But a decent enough film.
