All this talk i've recently heard about Australia missing a genuine spinner for the Ashes and beyond and now we hear of a lack of batting reliablity and fast bowling options issues (which I highly doubt). The question I pose is who (Internationally speaking) would Australia require to if not dominate again but at least consistantly win series'. I am only talking about one player that you could pick. Who could make the difference in any department.
The obvious candidates would be someone like a MS Dhoni ie wicketkeeper/(aggressive) batsman with leadership skills.
Dale Stein - gun fast bowler
My personal vote goes to Ajantha Mendis a leggie from Sri Lanka who is 24 played 8 matches taken 39 wickets at around 25.
It's a silly question (maybe not since these 3 players could be the model for our young cricketers to aspire to) but who would you make Aussie if you could?:)
