Our work radios are on SAFM, and we are inflicted with the same songs 3 times a day, EVERY day. It is painful.
Atomic Kitten, Avril Lavigne, that f*cking Counting Crows song, Red Hot Chili Peppers, the new version of Billie Jean, Shiny Disco Balls...
AAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!
What happened to no repeat work days?
There is nothing more irritating than hearing the same song over and over again. I used to like half of the songs they played, but now abhor them because they've been thrashed so badly.

If I had the choice I would have been flicking channels long ago.
Another one they're notorious for thrashing is Shaggy and I absolutely hate him. Grr.
I've heard far too much of Billie Jean atm. The also keep playing Avril song's at lunch times at the moment too. I was getting sick of skater boy! They're starting play Tatu a fair bit now.

Unlike Triple M which plays the same 3 rubbish songs all day.
Go the community radio stations.
I always have my radio tuned to 2ser 107.3 here in Sydney.
I hate being dictated too by crappy radio stations who think I enjoy listening to that Laverne chicks music or the Counting Crows butchered version of a classic song.

I try to break it up a bit by listening to 3aw in the morning with Neil Mitchell and then turning it over to music in the afternoon.That way i only have to hear the same song twice a day instead of 4 times.

SAFM is shocking. Horrible. Disgusting. If you like listening to teenybopper garbage 24/7 then thats your station. If the radio is on SAFM at work then i turn it over.
MMM is just as bad. Adelaides MMM is different to Melbournes. Our MMM is oldies and the odd new song (usually the same ones over and over and over....Chilli Peppers - Zephyr, Avril Lavigne, Counting Crows). But if you like hearing Bohemian Rhapsody, A Hard Days Night, American Pie, Stairway To Heaven, Devil Gate Drive and so on every single day at the same time slot then thats your station.
JJJ is bareable. Ive really gone off it. It is very repetitive and to much talking in the morning till lunchtime for our workplace.
Fresh is alright...altho again very repetitive..also has some talking but at least their talkign is about interesting stuff.
Be bold and listen to records.

Local radio (95.3 Coast FM):
No repeat work day. Absolute BS.
I listened to the radio on and off for a period of 12 hours (ie in one go) last week. This is what I heard:
2 x RHCP
3 x Avril Lavigne
2 x Rogue Traders (same song)
2 x Atomic Kitten
3 x Androids
2 x Counting Crows (same song)
2 x Michelle Branch
2 x Christina Aguilera
Plus half the other songs in the Top 20 at least once. (same song) I just don't remember their names.
In protest, I try not listen to it anymore. When I can help it. And I swear, if they play that STUPID GODDAMN Jonathon Brown ad one more time or mention him (local media also obsessed with Brisbane), I'll be writing a letter of complaint.

I remember a time when SAFM wouldn't play teenybopper crap.
They also became the first FM station on top of their local ratings in Australia.
