A big thanks to Alistair Lynch for all his leadership and hard work in his role as Co-Captain over the years. I was sad to read he stepped down from the position today, but am grateful that he has re-inforced his position that he will be playing on in 2001.
Whether he is Captain or not, he will still always be a leader within the club. Well Done Lynchy!!!

Who do you guys think will be added for a leadership role?
I feel that it should be Shaun Hart. He is such a good rolemodel and is always giving everythinkg 110%!!
Good on ya lynchy...a wise descion. for the good of the club!

I am disappointed to see Lynch step down as captain, however I respect his decision, as he is in the position to know best.
I think Voss should remain as the ONLY captain of the team, with C.Scott taking the premier Vice-Captain role.
WELL DONE LYNCH!

Lynchy is the reason I started following the Lions in the first place a decade ago, so I am also very sad to hear that he has stepped down from the captaincy. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/frown.gif But I do agree with Olmy, he is wise enough to know what's best for him. GREAT news that he will definitely be playing on in 2001!!!!!!!!! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif YAY. GO LYNCHY!!!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOO THE MIGHTY LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really don't think that Harty will want to do it. & Even though Nigel is a champ he really isn't right for the job either
we were talking about this at the start of last year & that's what i thought.
Harty is a champ but i don't think he will want to be in the spotlight that much.

Darryl White deserves a senior position - under Matthews he has developed consistency to go with his undoubted talent. He can be counted on week in week out.
