View Full Version : No let down this week?
I think we can come to a truce this week surely and just give you guys the 4 points without bothering.
Its win-win if you guys get the points.
You play finals and we get pick 3.
If we win we get pick 5 and you probably miss the finals.

Such an arrangement would suit me, but I feel a letdown by us is probably going to be inevitable, especially given the personnel that are expected to miss. It just depends though if we can get off to a good start, unlike the West Coast game, and erase a few mental demons early.
Harvs loves Essendon ... he'll make it happen! ;)

Dude I totally feel the same way!
Yeah, I would love that agreement. Both teams will be happy.

Tongue in cheek much?
Last I heard he has a little animosity towards.....
would be nice to my pockets :D
Excuse me but I don't think any of us have the power to negotiate that arrangement, including you.

Cmon guys, saying you feel a loss is inevitable is a poor attitude. It was our attitude that won the game on Sunday. It the players were thinking they were going to get smashed, they would have.
Now i know, we have lost some silly games this year, but keep having confidence that we will turn the corner and (provided Port lose), guarantee a finals spot.

A 'letdown' doesn't necessarily mean a loss.

^ True.
However i will be happy with just a win. Sure we need to play well and hit good form should we make finals, however i dont care how much the margin is as long as we win.
i believe they should take a no-risk policy and only bring in genuinely fit players leaving blokes such as winderlich, dempsey, lloyd, lucas, ryder, fletcher at home to recover in time for the hawthorn match and going with the fit players such as jetta, skipworth, daniher, hooker, hocking if required and hoping for the best.

Personally, I'd bring in Hooker for Fletcher, Daniher for Dempsey and Slattery for Ryder.
