It was reported the other day that the 4 up and coming young guns, Black, Croad, Tarrant and Goodes all will be out of contract at the end of the upcoming season.
It is also reported that they are looking for a contract worth between 1.2 and 1.5 million dollars over three years
Supposing that Black wants the 1.5 million, and you guys think he is worth that much.
I think the likes of Carey, Hird and Vossy are all on half a million a year, is this an unreasonable amount of money to expect.

IMHO I think he is worth that much and much more. Black has the potential to be one of the great champions of all time.
The lions should sign him up as soon as possible and make the contract out for the rest of his playing career, that is how important to the lions I think he is.

I believe, not only should they pay him the money, they should name the new Gabba stand after him!

is it just me.....or does blacky remind you of voss????? He is the player of the future!!!! Amazing player and will be a worth captain when vossy retires!

if bradshaw is worth whatever he is getting (can't remember the exact figure but it's in the millions) then i definetly think black is worth that - that's if he dosn't want to go back to western australia.
