I missed exactly what was said about Jarrod....obviously it wasn't very nice.... and Jarrod is a nice guy, a great player etc.... but for the goodness sake Ally... you've gone on and ON about "the real reason Jarrod left" since the day he was traded, on both the lions' forum & the bislions yahoo page....and now HERE! Is the "real reason" so hideous and shamefull that if it was to get out that it would ruin Jarrod not only publicly but also privately?? What is so secretive about it all? Don't you think that us mere mortals who don't know Jarrod "personally" could understand his reasons for leaving? Oh puh-lease, we're not that simple minded that we couldn't empathise with Jarrod's "personal reason".So Ally.....it's time to put up or shut up... and I mean that in the nicest possible way.... honestly.

From what I've heard, the guy wasn't guarenteed a position on the forward line, and he didn't want to play on the back line.... he decided to go to another team that would accomodate him. Good on him I say.... who in their right mind wouldn't change teams or go to a different company (for us folks in the real world) if the one you were with couldn't give you what you wanted??

On ya FunkyBlue,

Anyway -

I reserve my right as a Lions supporter, to be displeased to losing what I considered a VG good player.

Quoting Jarrod's own words about his lack of committment & laziness whilst in Brisbane was I think a fair point for discussion.

we were willing to accept Jarrods reasons for leaving and eventually (somehow) move on. but, i agree, it's hard to move on if we are being continually told that there is a different story. i understand ally if you want us to know that perhaps the decision was taken out of jarrods hands, however, since you are unwilling to disclose this information (which is fair enough) it's best left alone, and not continually hinted at, so we can move on.

Same here. Whatever the 'real' reason for Jarrod leaving the club, the fact still remains that he is gone. People will always believe whatever they want to. I just hope Jarrod has some really great football ahead of him (except against us http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/tongue.gif in such circumstances he is only allowed mild success!!!!!) which I firmly believe he does, and that he has a great and rewarding career, no matter what club he plays for. http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/smile.gif

Jarrod Molloy's old man kicked the first goal at VFL park when it opened in 1970. He kicked it from the very spot where my great-grandfather Cedric the Ram used to graze before he and the family were shifted on in the name of progress.
