In cinemas on the 23rd of October. I simply cannot wait. http://www.saw6film.com/
Trailer looks alright. Jigsaw's overall scheme will finally be revealed.
It has been reported that Saw VI will be much more violent than previous films in the franchise.[6] Also, the film will have traps that pit victims against each other, similar to the mausoleum scene from Saw IV.
A couple of the traps:
The "carousel room" trap.
It's very carnival, playground-like. It's just nasty. [There are] spinning red lights in there. It's really overwhelming to walk in and look at because everything is spinning.
The "steam room" trap.
robably the best looking SAW trap of them all. It's big and expensive. It's got furnaces, fires and steam. It's muti-leveled. The most complex Saw. We had techno cranes flying through. It was pretty amazing.
Apparently there will be flashbacks to previous films that reveal all the answers every diehard fan is dying to know.
I simply cannot wait.

Q. Is this going to be the final instalment of the Saw films?

Hopefully the sixth installment ties up loose ends such as:
* What happened to Doctor Gordon?
* What happened to the daughter who was trapped in Saw III?
* Will Daniel from Saw II make another appearance?
* What was in the box Jill Tuck received from Jigsaw in Saw V?
It also won't be the last in the series. I know for sure there will be a seventh edition.
Tendra Howard won on the reality show "Scream Queens", currently airing here on MTV, for a role in this movie.

I was a fan of saw 1 and 2, but thought it drifted off a bit in 3 and 4. I, quite reluctantly saw saw 5, and was pleasantly suprised. Will definently be tuning into number 6.
Just 1 more week until this is out.
Don't know why but once again I am hyping this up. Was disappointed with the 5th so hopefully this can start to tie up loose ends, answer some real questions and give an actual solid story as well as a better "Big" trap as the one in V just felt way too rushed and thrown together at the last minute.

another one :thumbsd:
This series is dragging on and becoming as terrible as Police Academy.
Pity as the first couple of movies were outstanding.

I can 100% guarantee this movie will be shit.
It has been going downhill very fast since the second one
Was out today (or last night since it just went past midnight here).
Anyone see it yet?
I'm probably going to wait until Tuesday and see it on the cheap, but if it is better than expected I might just have to make my way in sooner.
Of course try to keep the spoilers in the spoiler tags too.
I saw (no pun intended) the film this morning at 10:30am.
I can honestly say its the best SAW since SAW 1, the last scene is truly epic. Everything gets tied up, or so you think - there is an unexpected loophole which paves way for SAW 7 next year. Cant say much more without spoiling it.
Damn, have to say that is extremely surprising if true.
Was watching the 7pm Project when Costas Mandylor was on and Charlie Pickering said that this was being touted as "The best Saw yet" and naturally I was thinking he was just playing up to the guest as usually happens, Dave Hughes also said that it's not every day you see the 6th film in a series touted as the best yet. But maybe it's true and this could rival the first?!
Guess I'll have to go in either tomorrow or over the weekend now.
I dont think any sequel can rival the original... i mean jigsaw standing up at the end was the craziest shit i've ever seen. But i agree that SAW 6 brings the franchise to a full circle..... ill speak to you after you watch it :)

Was better than most of the sequels.
Many of the twists were predictable, but as always there were a few that were quite clever.
Decent movie, better than I expected.

i really liked it which was pretty suprising, a major improvement on the last few instalments (thats not saying much mind you) easily the only one that rivals the original saw.

OMFG!
I felt so pumped after watching this movie that I felt like storming out of the cinemas and smashing through a brick wall.
What an absolutely brilliant movie. I had several electric currents down my spine throughout most of the whole movie.
For the first time since the series started, I have not left saying, "I cannot wait until the next movie in the series", because now I truly have seen it all.
The best part is the movie seemed to get better and better as it went on. Kudos to the new director on the greatest movie ever (overtaking the original Saw).
For those wondering if this will be the last one, there was an article on Costas Mandylor in Thursday's Herald-Sun, and they mentioned that Saw VII was already planned and ready to run.
I also read on IMDB.com that there are some storylines in the current movie that will be explained or expanded upon in the Saw game that is coming out on PS3, XBox360 and PC.
Well, I saw (Pun might be intended) this today. VERY GOOD!:thumbsu:
Was certainly a jump right back to the quality of the original Saw, I wouldn't say it surpassed it though as the original was absolutely brilliant. But this is probably the 2nd best of the series so far which is surprising considering it is the 6th iteration.
I was actually going to come on here and say that I wouldn't be surprised if this was the last Saw, but I guess Winty ruined that.:p
Anyway, my reasoning was going to be that the ending was of the nature that if the series ended now it would actually make sense. (The following is for those who have seen Saw VI)Basically it would seem that there isn't anyone left to continue on Jigsaw's work. Yes Hoffman can still conceivably do it, but will he be in any state to come back and start setting up traps left right and centre? Jill thankfully is seemingly not going to take on the role which would've been a bit too predictable, I loved the way she was handled in this one. Finishing Jigsaw's wishes and completing the whole journey. For me it would've actually been the best way for this series to finish off. You have the brilliant first movie. Then you continue on with the series tapering off in quality until this fantastic edition which answers almost all the unanswered questions and completed Jigsaw's legacy.
Will certainly be interesting to see how Saw VII plays out considering how VI went.
Have to say I was VERY happy with the movie. The main 'game' was very good, well thought out and each scenario built up nicely and the finale was gruesome but great. Also it was nice to have much more of a focus on the main game this time instead of it being an after thought like V's seemed to be. Also V's main game had no real bearing on the actual story where this one did, which is exactly the way it should be.

Just read in a article that one of the main actors 'Mark Hoffman' the detective/bad guy? lol, (only watched the 5th but not 6th) was born and lived in Melbourne to greek parents.
Took me by surprise, nice little fact. :)
i dunno, they are all the same to me

I'm probably unlike most in that I've loved most of the sequels but was a little disappointed by this one.
I don't really like that some of the victims have no say in whether they live or die - seems like they've completely missed the point of what Jigsaw was about.
I can't believe Betsy Russell is 46 :o

The whole franchise was created by two Australians.
The production of Saw VII begins in January. It's gonna be awesome watching this in 3D. David Hackl is back to produce it, while the same writers from the previous three sequels will continue on.
Tobin Bell has also expressed his interest to continue playing Jigsaw until at least SAW VIII.
After Saw VIII, apparently that will be it and they will bring out a TV series.

I watched Saw V tonight, no idea why. I don't really like the premise of them and I've seen bits and pieces when my brother watched them and it didn't do much for me. But when you're bored you'll watch almost anything.
I enjoyed it, I virtually had no idea what was going on but I did enjoy it. That last trap thingy was so brutal!!
Question: Has watching Saw V ruined the rest of the series if I went back and started from the beginning?

Saw VII is gonna be in 3D. The writers have confirmed that the fate of Dr. Lawrence Gordon finally revealed. My guess is that he is the new Jigsaw and the only one who "made it" by learning his lesson and truly appreciating life.

I'm expecting the latter.

Another interesting theory is that Adam could still be alive. Remember his left leg was in the shackle in Saw I. In Saw II when Amanda and Daniel went into the same bathroom, they showed a corpse (meant to be Adam), but the shackle is on his right leg.
Also in Saw IV, at the beginning of Rigg's game, they show photos of victims. These photos are exactly the same type of photos we see Adam developing of Doctor Gordon in Saw I. Adam could have survived to continue photographing victims. Someone had to photograph them, and it sure as hell wasn't Hoffman or Jill.
I reckon there is a chance that Adam survived (they actually didn't show him die), and he is the accomplice to Jigsaw.
I also recall John saying to Amanda in Saw III, "I cleaned up your mess." Which could mean that, after she tried to suffocate Adam to death, John walked in to stop her from killing him. Or after Amanda left, John saved Adam's life and made it appear he was dead by putting in a corpse of another body.
