Well, what can you say about the great man. In my mind, the greatest footballer Queensland has ever produced.
His commitment to the Bears/Lions is unquestionable. Nothing seems to tie this man down (apart from the odd broken ankle, the odd knee reconstruction and a foot long steele pole in his leg).
His abilty to pick up the ball and handball it 20 or so metres behind him, without looking, all in the same motion, is freakish.
His ability to manoeuvre himself out of a tackle and on the odd occassion when he is grabbed, and unable to get free, he still manages to get rid of the ball cleanly.
His feats, especially the 60m + goal last year, are able to lift his charges to win a game from the lowest position.
Undoubtedly there are several more best and fairest to be won, and I am sure he has still got a couple of Brownlow medal season up his sleeve.
Who knows, this year he might do the triple, Brownlow, Norm Smith and Premiership medal.
