View Full Version : I guarantee you that the Ashes will be retained!
Australia will not lose a wicket when 200 runs are up. Ladies and gentlemen, make sure that you witness the greatest two days of your lives and the hearts of the English fans being broken. This series has panned out PERFECTLY! So much better than a 5-0 imo when the English public become disinterested. Clarke to be MAN OF THE MATCH!!!! :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

Unless it rains, Australia will not retain the Ashes.
I'm putting money on poms, will cause a draw and aussie win.

Rain and other uncomprimising circumstances such as an English riot may prevent the Aussies from victory. A draw would be satisfactory regardless. :D

I hope it somehow rains when it is perfectly sunny and blue sky.
It's not gunna happen guys.
Rain is our only hope.
No chance of us winning.
Would be great to see Australia win and retain the ashes but chances are, Australia will choke.

The big difference in this run chase is the ammount of time left in this match.
466 in 180 overs. Only about 2.5 an over
If there was a pitch in England you would choose to get a high score to win a match The Oval would be it.
A good start for Aussies today and this will be interesting.
Wonder if Strauss regrets declaring ??

Our best chance is the fanatics digging up the pitch or the sri lankan monsoon rains taking a wrong turn and ending up at the oval.
Rain is our only hope.
No chance of us winning.

Lol choke? How is not being able to chase 550 odd choking. If we chase this it will be the greatest feat in cricketing history but if we dont its choking?

The first innings was a choke, going from 0/61 to all out for 160 is choking of the highest order.
No shame in not being able to chase 550+ but there is shame in that England were allowed to get 550+ in front.
No, they won't.
They may well be regained in Australia, however.

I haven't written us off yet.
It'd obviously take something phenomenal, but there is a chance.

Oh dear :o
I like the enthusiasm but I reckon it's impossible from here. We could bat well and still fall 150-200 runs short.

It is a sort of mental illness though... can the ban be associated with some sort of cyber intervention?
