For all us mighty cricket fans, do you think you will stay up and watch the whole game or not?

Yes, I'll be watching but I wouldn't really call it staying up because it'll finish at 12.30 here.

If it looks like being close ... yeah, for sure.

But if the Aus look like walloping them, I'll probably turn in.

Can't see it being too late a night, really.

I will be staying up. Should be good watching.
I have a feeling we will bowl first, and will chase a big total, spearheaded by Punter. Although I'm usually wrong.

Actually Id like to see the Aussies bat first and for Sachin to spank Lee to all parts of the ground on the way to... just falling short of single-handedly winning the trophy for the Indians.

A great innings from Tendulakar, some great fielding to run him out from Punter the Indians to put the wind right up the Aussies and for us to just scrape the win.

That'll do.

Yep, most likely. Probably not the best idea considering I have a TEE maths EWP the next morning, but if it means seeing a once in four years cricket world cup final, I want to be watching it!

Going over to my mate's house and watching it with a 21 piece bucket of chicken infront of us.

There's no doubt that I'm staying up to watch this. Its the freaking world cup final and it only comes around once every 4 years!

Personally (arrogantly maybe !!!) I would like to see either a repeat of the last WC final or Aus bat first, score 300 and bowl India out for 150 with Tendulkar getting a duck !!!! (Will be much better on the nerves anyway !!!!)

Definately.

Only missed the Kenyan game as I was out getting drunk and there was no TV screens at the time.

I wanna see us make 320 on this track and take 80 off of Harbajhan's 10 overs.
Then to top it off see Boof Lehmann take a bag with his quality left arm spinners.

Yeah, that'd do me. Say Aus bat first & make 8/330 (Gilchrist 100 off 70 balls). India all out 325 from 49.5 overs (Tendulkar last man out 150)

Ok maybe a little too close....

Well, you were half right BT, Aussies, big score and the lil master.. no score. :(

Man of the tournament though and he is a deserved winner too.

Didnt they (Indians) bowl abysmally though. :( Killed the game as contest early, credit to the Aussies (and Ponting in particular). Great knock from them.

It ended at around Midnight in Perth so thats not really "late". If I was in the Eastern States I still would have stayed up to watch it all.
