Another week, another game. A game that the Bendigo alignment could finish off with a win? a daunting prospect for the last placed Bombers, but the Werribee unit is not that much placed better sitting in 11th.
This week we could possibly scratch together our first win of the season, but alot of injuries to key players may take hold against the injury ravaged Bombers.
any ways teams are:
B: L.Jetta - Flaherty - Thomson
F: Banjanin - O'Keefe - Martinello
HB: S.Crameri - T.Slattery - Weekley
HF: Mather - Pask - Speight
C: Nash - Skipworth - Holmes
C: Wright - Harris - Barlow
HF: Carroll - Daniher - Quinn
HB: Howard - Henderson - Sharp
F: Stroobants - Bristow - Hulme
B: Bryce* - Saker - Fletcher
R: Bellchambers - Scanlon Magin
R: Gardiner - Gleeson - Rockefeller
I/C: Coulson-Hoffacher - J.Bowe - Fenton* - German - Delahunty - Messis - Myers - Zaharakis - Bock
I/C: Riggio - Castello - Haby - Prismall - Kennedy - Magnabosco - Boyle - Lunardi
Looking at the teams, we actually match up ok against them, a couple of key match ups to look at are:
Pask V T.Slattery
Ex Brisbane Lion Marty Pask has been playing reasonable footy for the Werribee outfit and is the key to their attack up front, matches up well against the young and dashing Tyson Slattery, Slatts will need to be on his game from the outset if he is to do a good job in curbing Pask's influecne on the game.
Harris V Skipworth
Harris is a very good AFL player, let alone VFL, so Skippy will have his work cut out, both very different players with Skipworth providing the run and carry for the bombers andHarris the in and under bulk work, should be a comnpelling match up to follow.
Rockefeller V Magin
Rockeellar has steadily improved over the course of the season, but so has Magin, may not start here so dont expect to see big numbers from the Queensland kid, may want a good showing in what could be his last outing in the Red and Black.
Quick Tip: Bendigo 18 - 30 points.
Daniher to dominate, Skipworth B.O.G
**NOTE: not sure why it has Zaharakis named on the bench as he has hurt his hand??**
thanks, cant be bothered to look at the twos, but yeah same old s*** from them I expect.
Go Bombers.
