View Full Version : TV Why is Beyond the Darklands...
Not on tonight?
Wtf they're dragging out the old "legal reasons" excuse. Has Jeff been getting injunctions again.
Not cool. Was looking forward to this ep.
It's only in Vic that it's not on
Injunction halts Beyond The Darklands (http://www.tvtonight.com.au/2009/08/injunction-halts-beyond-the-darklands.html)
FFS. Everyone knows he's guilty.
Im getting so sick of looking forward to a show (or story in the case of 60 minutes), then it getting taken off air at the last minute. Dont advertise it then if theres a strong chance of it not being shown.
Grrrrrr.....
(I'll calm down in a minute... :o)
Was wanting to see this tonight. Like someone said everyone knows the **** is guilty. He is doing life. What is the injuction about.
I'd hit that psychiatrist.
I'd hit that psychiatrist.
Who you talking about? The psychiatrist on the show or the one that Dupas killed?

He is "appealing" the murder of that lady in the Fawkner cemetary. Even though he already has a life sentence, never to be released.
I really feel for the families in these cases, having to go through it all again. What a load of rubbish... :thumbsd:
A state based injuction. Why on earth do they bother these days? The idiocy of swooping like a hawk on things like this or results of drug testing 'found' outside doctors once they've already made it onto the internet is pointless.
Having an in-law whose a cop in Victoria I can say the first season of underbelly was requested via torrent, video or dvd by a hell of a lot of them from friends/family interstate. Now if they are doing it, how can any judge think they are doing anything other then stopping those without friends/families or the internet seeing things if they want to?

Not sure why they would have canned it in Vic.
I still remember the very 1st episode they did which was " the Bernies".
2 life long lovers from eastern suburbs of perth who went on a mass rape/killing spree in the mid to late 80's and it was shown here.
Yes, but was the case still in the courts on an appeal??
LMAO at Derryn Hinch this arvo on the radio- he could not even mention the tv program nor the seriall killer the show was about last night. Madness.

I mean, I already knew the story, but watching that story really caught my eye.
Funnily enough I was driving in Willagee (the suburb where it happened) the next day, and drove past those shops where the chick ran to when she got away. It really did give me a chill up my spine.

yeh, it is my fav story of all the ones they have done. (maybe cause it is local)
i had to study it briefly a few years ago and and though i knew all about the story, it was very bone chilling to read more into it and actually stand out the front of the house.

That woman last night was insane! (obviously)
never could imagine anybody could be like that and do what she did.

What did she do?
What's this show like? Crime Investigation Australia or something?

She killed her partner, cooked him up and served him to her children.
(Is that about right- i only caught the last 20 minutes or so)
It is very similar to CIA. It has a psychologist that talks directly to camera, offering her opinions on the crime and criminals involved. I believe they may offer a little more of the criminal's background, life up until the crime that CIA does. But otherwise its pretty much very similar.
She killed her partner, cooked him up and served him to her children.
"So how do you like your father - raw, medium or overdone ?"

the show is very good.
gives you a look back into their early life and shows you why they became what they became.
It wasnt just how she killed and skinned and then cooked him up that shocked me but also the way she bashed the 3 blokes she was with prior to him and how they tried but apparently couldnt get away from her.

How about how she stuck her baby on some train tracks and left her there. It was just fortunate that someone had been watching her.

or the fact she was arrested three times and then sent to a psych ward instead of being charged

And this is the stuff only we know about... Especially in relation to her boyfriend, those details probably weren't everything that happened. I'd hate to think.

what about how she kept knives above the bed and the only reason any of the blokes stayed with her was because she was a demon in the sack...
one word: psychopath
