following on from the ODI XI to take on Australia.
This would be my test team:
Herschelle Gibbs
Michael Vaughan
Jacques Kallis
Sachin Tendulkar
Yousuf Youhana
Kumar Sangakarra (wk)
Sean Pollock (c)
Shoaib Akhtar
Harbajhan Singh
Shane Bond
Muttiah Murilitharan
Shivnarine Chanderpaul (12)
Pollock and Akhtar opening the bowling, Bond first change.

Sangakarra? He can't keep properly. He made so many blunders in the WC, and to say he is the 2nd best keeper in the world (behind Gilchrist :)) is just ludicrous.
Rest of your side looks pretty good. I'd have Dravid in there.

Yea i agree hes not the greatest keeper of all time, but he is a good bat, and in a short batting lineup hes as good as option as any.
The Little Master should be opening. He's the best batsman in the world, so put him in his best ODI position.

I'd boot out Youhana and insert VVS Laxman. Same logic as on the ODI thread - he is one of the few batsman over the past few years who we genuinely struggled to get out.
