That an ugly incident involving Essendon players/player has taken place in the early hours of this morning at a city night club. Police involved. More to follow..... Havent names player/'s. Haven't said if it is a member of the public that has instigated or the player.
We talking in Adelaide or another player who didn't play and was in Melbourne?
5AA saying at an Adelaide nightclub, but for obvious reasons not naming names.

Sorry i cant believe you on this...until we hear hard evidence..(news on the ACTUAL Afl news outlet, i.e ABC radio, MMM, 3aw etc.) and not some community radio station from adelaide. have heard nothing whatso-ever on it over here....just cos you lost last week :thumbsu:

Listening to 5AA is akin to torture. Full of morons.
Until a decent source confirms it, who knows - it could have been an essendon supporter for all we know.
MMM reporting that Essendon asked Scotty Lucas to play this week and he told the club to 'f*** off' because they didn't give him a send off game 3 weeks ago...
No more info. They've only bought it up twice. A lot of "tutt tutting" going on as they read it... but it could be as factual as their reporting last week that Carlton had lost Walker and 2 other players pre match. I too am embarrassed that 5 double *ickhead is the one and only radio "sports(crows) show in this state..
All they said is that they had become aware that it had taken place and police in attendance.
They have however condemned the poor behavior of Adelaide supporters towards many Bombers supporters. Some good natured Bombers supporters having beer thrown/tipped on them. Also some being abused as they were leaving. I think this finally dispels the belief/myth it only happens in Melbourne.

This is very bad news, why do we have to end a season like this?
If it is NLM, he's gone.
If it is anyone else, I'm very disappointed.
If someone without a contract did it, they're done for.

Rumour from some Adelaide bloke. Hamilton denied it. EFC helped out at the bar. End.
So now EFC are heroes?
HA HA HA, drunk guy was a loser. SEN just had Hamilton on, there was a scuffle but our players weren't involved, in fact they helped security & police identify the culprits, then drunk guy comes out with "it was Mc Phee that hit me", total bullshit. :D

I am relieved to hear none of our players are in trouble.
Hopefully they are back and safe in this state now before any more rumours can begin...
As for some of the stories about some of the treatment Essendon supporters copped in Adelaide... well it's really no surprise. I have close family friends (Collingwood supporters) and was speaking to them the other day about an incident that occured the year after Darren Millane died (1992) and their first and last trip to Adelaide. Some very unsavoury incidents occured after the game that the Pies won and comments directed at family members of Darren Millane about his death. Pretty feral bunch.

Crows supporters are fine. Last night one guy even gave me a hug after the game! I have never had a problem with them. Port on the other hand are ferals.
Just heard on SEN that there was a story going around that an Essendon player had been involved in a pub fight last night. Aparently some really drunk guy was beaten up and when he got to hospital, blamed Adam Mc Phee. Paul Hamilton issued a statement that it was all lies and the drunk had just made up the story.

Channel 10 news reported Adam McPhee was accused in a night club scuffle last night. Several Essendon players attended Electric Circus night club over here in Adelaide after the game, a fight broke out & a patron had his nose broken. He claimed it was McPhee who hit him but was wrongly accused.
Not quite sure of the relevance to this thread. Embarrassing really. Suck it up Onwards and stop making us all look like imbeciles. An appalling attempt at posting a reply to a thread.

I've seen McPhee out heaps ... A few of the Bombers party at the same places I seem too.
I'm telling you he wouldn't be the one who started anything. He is a top bloke and I have never even seen him drunk when out.
