I will be happy with a winning team, whoever it is made up of.
A winning team is the best team!

This is the team I would field for round 1.
B: Akermanis, Michael, Johnson
HB: C.Scott, Leppitsch, Pike
C: White, Voss, Lappin
HF: Notting, Brown, Cupido
F: Bradshaw, Lynch, Power
R: McDonald, Black, Hart
Inter: Headland, McRae, Ashcroft, Shattock
Emergencies: Picken, Bolton, B Scott
i cannot believe anyone would leave clarke keating and Matt Kennedy out of their best sides, keating is a very good tap ruckmen that also takes contested marks and can kick goals, the sort of bloke that makes a side into a premiership team, a fit and inform kennedy releases the likes of leppitsch, Michael, Pike. All of a sudden Michael is now taking the third best forward instead of the second and pike takes the fourth best instead of the third, this allows for greater chance of those players making a greater impact.
I would be looking for greater consistency from notting this year, he may be the one to watch, also cupido.

i just really couldn't find any room for max kennedy with the new additions. these new and upcoming guys really do deserve a spot and although experience is important, sometimes you have to give others a chance to prove themselves.
B. Akermanis Leppitsch White
HB. C.Scott Pike Johnson
C. Lappin Voss Hart
HF.Headland Brown McRae
F. Bradshaw Lynch Power
Ruck. Keating Ashcroft Black
Inter. McDonald Bolton Notting Michael
Kennedy may have played his last game, I feel.
I wouldn't expect too much of Michael. Ihaven't seen him do anything really impressive in the backline.
