I saw this movie for the first time earlier this year and then again a few weeks ago. It's one of the best I've seen in my life. Few great clips from it on youtube as well.

Brilliant film, easily Scott's best.
One of the few movies I actually own and watch a couple of times each year (Apocolypse Now another). Never gets old to me.
Definitely one of my favourite movies of all time.
That scene you referenced above with Dennis Hopper and Christopher Walken is a classic... again one of my favourite scenes of all time.

A good movie but to my mind it is a lot of excellent scenes held together by a pretty frayed narrative.
But yes, perhaps the best thing Scott has done.

That's sort of how I felt about Inglorious Basterds. Still great movies though, especially True Romance. Gary Oldman is gold in it as well, as always.

I agree one of the best scenes in an excellent movie
Agree with all of the Above Top film and you would be surprised as to how many people have not seen this film.

Great film. Scott did a great job, but one has to wonder how Tarantino would have directed it.
