After 2 Grand Final appearances from the U16s over the past 2 years, Sandgate U16s are already looking towards September 2010 and intend to have a strong player list to see the club compete again. what happened in this years grand final? Heard they were undefeated until then?

On paper............the best side in the comp...........in the head though.....they didnt show up. Aspley had nothing to loose, and played a real hard solid game with not many errors. Well coached in the head of the team to get them to the state they played. Sandgate had no head work done on them, so they folded under pressure. Same thing happened 2 years ago to the U16Div1s against MtGravatt............best side lost both GFs............but the better prepared sides on the day won. Lesson learnt for next year
