All I can say is thank God I had a free ticket to this movie. If I had spent money I would be very upset!

The basic idea was sound but very badly put together. The trailers on TV and radio made it sound quite appealing. Survivors of plane crash all go on to die in bizarre "accidents". Only one survivor left. Cycle of death has to be broken to prevent anymore, look for the signs, work out the order of Deaths list.

Sounded very much like the ilk and genre of Seven etc. NOT!!

Anyone else seen this and disappointed as I? Did the cinema laugh at the ending as my audience did? Was it supposed to be funny?

Yep we saw it 2 weeks ago, we enjoyed the first one but this one was ridiculous, they just went full on with totally unrealistic deaths just for the blood & gore, it could have been done so much better if they had concentrated on the reasons rather than seeing how many wierd & bloody deaths they could come up with.
I think the final scene summed up what a failure the movie was when the entire cinema burst into laughter at the final death scene.

Tip for Hollywood, a movie that is just blood & guts is not going to be a blockbuster.

I watched Final Destination expecting a good movie but what I saw was in my opinion, the worst movie ever... You couldn't pay me to watch the sequel.

I reckon it was one of the funniest movies of the year.

That is the problem it wasn't meant to be a comedy, but because of their over the top death scenes, that's the way it panned out.

Haven't seen FD2 but saw the first movie which was alright.

It was a little creepy because in the first movie, the name of the main character and the plot (going to France) was exactly what I did the year before the movie was released (except I didn't get off the plane and nobody I knew died) :D

I can't believe people liked the first one. I felt like banging my head against a brick wall everytime I heard "death has it's own design".

No, Sawa was killed off. Halfway through the second one you find out he was killed by a falling brick :o Ali Larter's character is carried over however. I didn't think the movie was too bad, lots of blood and guts but not the same clever intent of the first movie. Very graphic crash scene at the beginning of the movie. Most of the deaths are actually pretty funny so it takes away any suspence or creepiness from the film.

I saw it last night and thought it was alright. I knew it wouldnt be an oscar contender or anything like that and the gore was funny. Nothing on the first FD, that was a good movie. The second was just a gore fest, but I like my gore so I thought it was ok. Whether I will ever watch it again...doubtful but I would watch the original again.

Glad it wasn't just us that thought the second movie was a disappointment.

I'm with you Jod I love the blood & guts & thought the crash scene was brilliant, but unfortunately Mantis can't stand watching those scenes & closes her eyes I think she only had her eyes open for about 10 mins of the hole movie. :D
