What a show!!! Went to the first one in Perth, on Friday night at Belvoir Ampitheatre and I still cant believe how amazing that band is.

Played 2 sets, first one with more of the softer stuff including After All These Years, Anas Song and Miss You Love, which went for about 45mins to an Hr. Daniel Johns is a god. Was struggling with the pain of his reactive arthritis and eased it by having a bottle of Johnny Walker on hand. :D

Second set went off. Was third from the front in the mosh and was so worth the wait. Included Freak, Anthem for The Year 2000, The Door etc. Nice addition to the show was seeing Ben only wearing small pair of boxers ;) mmm.....

Played an encore including a solo by Johns on the keyboard.

All in all an awesome night, love Silverchair even more now, which i didnt believe was possible

I just had a friend tell me she attended both the Friday and Saturday night shows in Perth and she said they were just awesome.

I went to the Friday night show in Perth, it was pretty good.

I'm not a huge Silverchair fan, I wouldn't even call myself a fan to be honest, but it was a pretty cool show. I would have liked to know more of the songs so I could get a little more into it, but alas. It was still pretty good.

I'm going to the two Melbourne shows: one at the Palais and the other at Vodafone. Should be good, and it will be interesting if Daniel's brilliant vocals can be reproduced live.

I'm going on Wednesday, and can't wait.

I went through hell to get tickets... I ended up having to offer my friend $150 to convince him to sell me his, because there were literally NONE available.

It definitely wasn't worth $150 in my eyes.

Your friend is a fu*khead.

Anyone who makes a profit off another band by scalping tickets is a wnker, simple as that. It's about ethics.

Fanclub is pretty much the only way you could get tix in Melb. They went on sale a day early and sold out in minutes.

I'm going Saturday night. Absolutely cannot wait.

Anyone else hear the rumour that Melbourne might be the last place to ever see them live again?

IT WAS FANTASTIC.

Absolutely fantastic. I'm contemplating going interstate to see it again if I can get hold of tickets.

Sometimes I get scared that I will build myself up too much to see a great gig and be let down. That was sooooooo not the case with silverchair. Blew me away, amazing show. I was a bit disappointed they didn't play Tomorrow, but the rest of the show more than made up for it.

And I'll back up freo_fan with the deity status of one Daniel Johns. He was awesome on stage. He can sing, he can play, he can perform to an audience.

I'd pay just about anything to see them again.

Only downer about the night were the attendants walking around all night telling people to sit down. It's a concert for Gods sake! I hate sitting. I really didn't understand that.

They were very good on Saturday night. Highlights were Across The Night and The Door for me.

Daniel's voice DOES reproduce Diorama note perfect - it's freaking unbelievable. They're not my favourite band, and I only own Diorama, but surely Daniel Johns has the greatest voice in music today.

I enjoyed the second half more; it was more fun and the crowd livened up. It also brought in Chris and Ben a bit more, while the first half is kinda 'The Daniel Show'.

Oh, and I'm seeing them again on Tuesday. ;)

Hey Brett, you're normally very good at this - what was their whole set list? My bf put it into his mobile during the night but then deleted it in error. :(

If you don't know from Saturday can you try and remember tomorrow night? :)

Gee, you're testing me here. They opened with After All These Years, and closed the show with The Lever. I know The Door was the first song back after the interval, and Asylum was the penultimate song. It's late and I'm tired - I'll know it by tomorrow morning. I'll keep note of what the list is for tomorrow night's show; although it seems the list hasn't changed much throughout the entire tour.

By the way, there is absolutely no channce Tomorrow will be played on this tour. Johns came out before the tour and sai dif you werre coming to hear it, you'll be disappointed. In fact, there were no Frogstomp songs played on Saturday night, and they have been few and far between on the whole tour. Hopefully Israel Son gets a go tomorrow night.
