No apology for me to post. I was delighted when we got him. He is a top player and his presence adds something to the defence PLUS releases Edwards into the mid-field.
Played a great game yesterday as did Edwards.
Doubted your judgement? Never!
You made me doubt mine you bugger! :D
Fair to say although it's early days I'm pretty confident I completed screwed this one up. Torney played a blinder yesterday.
If apologies required, please accept my humblest. :)

Always had an high opinion of Jason but must admit he showed a bit more than i expected on sunday,
will prove the trade of the year if he keeps that sort of form up,

No apologies required from this corner.
He was a good pick-up, and Burns will/may turn out to be good insurance policy, considering he didn't cost much.

No appologies from this corner.
I always thought he would be a good pick up that will slot nicely into our defence and free up Edwards to play in the midfield and up forward. I think its fair to say that he played a game of his career against freo. Hope he continues on with his good form.
Tough as nails and a true team man:D
I think bigger apoligies are warranted for Ian Perrie. :D

No apologies here either.
Being a great South Adelaide man... it was never in question!
I will admit though when Macca19 cast him in the same light as Ben Hart I was perplexed:confused:
Go Jason!

The only thing I can recall criticising Torney for was his disposal. Must admit I had to have a 2nd look when he measured & nailed the goal on the run in the pocket (after strugging off a Freo player). Perhaps he has been doing some work with Jars on his skill, but I never doubted him being an honest, reliable defender. Has fitted like a glove into our defence & released Edwards into the middle for a BOG effort. Got to be happy with that! :D

Oh I AM guilty as charged!!!!!! I am more than happy to be proven wrong:D :D :D :D :D :D
Any chances of us owing an apology to Ben Marsh by the end of the year??????:(
BTW, Biglands was in Marsh class against freo. He had an absolute shocker:mad:

Not true Stiffy, not true old chum.
Biglands tried. If they hung Marsh for being dedicated they'd be hanging an innocent man!!! ;)
Also Biglands only got the last 10 minutes of each quarter. He was okay.

I had no problems with Torney's recruitment - I felt he had something good about him and would be a better player in a better side.
