Here is a tribute to Chris Simmons a.k.a DC Mickey Webb from The Bill. It is my belief that he is extremely underrated.
Mickey's a great character.Hopefully he'll be back.

lol I'm glad he didn't! Bob was forced into retirement although I missed the episode he left.
Then a few months back, Roberta Cryer took over as FDO (Front Desk Officer) and told everyone she was related to Bob

Do they still say "Oy!" a lot on that show?
I used to watch it years ago and they'd always yell out "Oy" when they started chasing someone ... and then "You're nicked" when they caught them.
I always found that I'd lose the story line because I was focussing on the accents and the quaint English expressions.

When I first read this post I thought 'no way, they'd never write that into the series. Surely not Mickey and Roberta'. But after last night's episode I am starting to worry it may be true. If that happens I may have to ponder whether or not I still want to watch the show.
Going to Roberta after Kate Speers, would be akin to Stephen Silvagni trading in Jo for Barb!:eek:

As much as i COULDNT stand Tom Chandler,he killed himself and Mckey encouraged Jack Meadows to investigate him.And yet Debbi McAllister blames Meadows for Chandler's death.Why not sheet the blame where it belongs,Mickey Webb?.
