I'm back.
Yesterday's game was in essence a big practice match, so the coaching staff could try some things in front of a dismal, but amused Welllington crowd.
Voss performed to his usual high standard and showed his skill with a left footed pass to Braddy on the run. Speaking of Braddy, he played a great game, leading, marking and kicking very well, causing the SA commentators to label him as a matchwinner.
Shauny Hart tagged the normally influentual McLeod out of the game. Black played well in the guts. Leppa ran the ball well out of defence and Aker was his inspirational self.
Brown looked good and provided a foil for Braddy and the out of sorts Lynch.
McDonald played resonably well, as did the new recruits Pike and Michael.
If we kicked better, the result may have been better, but it is early.
Looking forward to whooping some Bulldog butt next week in Cairns.
