....Tyson Edwards is an underrated player. What else does the guy have to do to shake that tag! - win a Brownlow??
.. and then i think it was Dermott who said that Simon Goodwin is an underrated player - I mean he's an All-Australian!!
Maybe it shows the Victorian mentality to both SA teams and players.

There's nothing bad about being underrated. It just means your a lot better than people give you credit for. It doesn't matter what other people think. If he keeps performing like he did against Freo on the weekend then I'll be more than happy.

Hmm -well hopefully they might be saying that about Wayne Carey the end of the year. ;)

At least he's not calling him Andy this year.

I'm pretty sure that was Dennis.
As snakebite said, being underrated is a compliment. It means he doesn't get the credit he deserves. (Perhaps we should be annoyed about our players not getting the credit they deserve.) To say Goodwin is underrated is a big compliment IMO as he does get plenty of plaudits.

Oh was it?
I always get him confused with that Brett Beinke. :D
Tyson Edwards is now so universally accepted as an under-rated player that it means he's finally being rated (if you know what I mean). A bit like Brett Ratten was a few years ago, or Adam Simpson till last year.
Tyson Stenglein _is_ under rated.
Everyone keeps saying Brett Reily as well
Its Brent for God's sake.
Isn't it?  :)

And its probably better that he's underated too - it allows him to do more damage.

I don't think Edwards made either Walls' or Sheahan's top fifty this year. IMO He should have been a shoe in.
