View Full Version : the end of the war.......
Having discussed this with a North Melbourne supporter last night - we have decided that it is in the best interest of supporters from both clubs, that we end this 'war' of posts......
From now on, the original threads in relation to this 'war' are going to be locked, and any future threads started about the same 'war' will also be locked.
Last June and July hostilities erupted between the 2 clubs and things got very very nasty....they are heading down the same track now, but this time there are alot more supporters involved from each club. And it isn't good.
With the Football season almost upon us, let's give the supporters a chance to talk footy and not have their topics lost amongst alot of posts about nothing.

you have to admit it has been great having a lot more responce to things that are written....provides better conversion....I'm agains the war!!!!

And Joshem it only took 1 or 2 fans from each club to start it....actually I do believe the whole thing started on this board...so it is fair enough that one or 2 fans get to stop it as well.

the end of the Lions/Roos great war of 2001.
how will we cope with life after the war?
1. Get conselling for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
2. Join the RSL
3. Your service medals will be mailed out soon, wear them with pride (get it? Lions - pride)
4. Get retrained for a job in civilian life.
5. Attend or watch the Lions/Roos memorial match rnd 2 2001 & hope like hell we thrash the living daylights out of them.

The board voted for Dodongo. So why isnt he our moderator.
If Dodongo agrees, i dont even mind putting it to another vote.
I will still vote dodongo, john howard and ripper (i will vote for josh boy if you can vote for more than 3 people).
