View Full Version : Movie Movies People Have Ruined For You
There are few things more irritating than somebody telling you the critical details of a movie that you want to see, ruining the ending.
Which movies have been spoiled for you like this?
One example I remember was The Sixth Sense - I had been planning to see it, but I listened to a radio call in programme, where the topic was your favourite movies. Sure enough, this girl called in and blurted out about how much she loved the suprise ending of Sixth Sense, describing it in great detail.
I never went to see Sixth Sense, and have not watched it to this day.

Second season of Dexter. :(
LOTR, while the movies were being made I was reading the book and a bloke did a one line spoiler post in a 100% irrelevant thread, it was just in caps like GOLLUM JUMPS IN MT DOOM WITH THE RING or something. ****ing dick.
I think I might have fair claim in this thread.
While watching Seven at the movies with a few mates, 15 minutes from the end my mate closest turns to me and says. "Doesn't it suck that Clinton told us that the bad guy wins."
Clinton hadn't old me.
- Braveheart & Gladiator, mates kept skipping to the violent scenes skipping the storyline
- Borat, watched it on a 40 degree night with a hangover eating ice cream and feeling depressed
- Napoleon Dynamite, was such a drag to watch, at the time I was awaiting a letter to say whether I had to repeat a year at school or not.

Damn that would suck because the ending is terrific.
Still definitely worth giving it a watch though, it is a great movie.

Can people put spoiler tags on their spoilers?
This thread just ruined one movie for me. :(

Haha yeah gotta say that Se7en is one movie which is terrible to spoil because the ending is so perfect, completely 100% unexpected but not because it is a ridiculous twist like most movies, its just so perfect.

Your mates must have the attention spans of a 5 year old
Something for Mary. Everyone i knew talked it up to be the most funniest/best movie ever. By the time i saw it i had massive expectations, but it was only an average comedy.

Terminator Salvation - but hear me out, it wasn't another person, it was the marketing of Marcus Wright as being a cyborg in all the Trailers.
If they had that as a twist halfway in the film, I would have been impressed. That and make John Connor a bit player...
