Q. So, is there anything interesting going on around you?
A. Not really, sitting at work trying to avoid distractions :o saw the huge plumes of black smoke pouring out of a building down St Kilda Rd somewhere, it's stopped now. BBG out.
... ok your turn ...

I just spoke to a Collingwood supporter without making a derogatory remark about his intelligence or lack of family heritage. Go figure - must be the off-season.
Still not speaking with the Geelong supporters despite their numerous attempts.
I just had to put out a fire because mother thought that using cardboard boxes to ensure the powerr cord didn't catch fire would work when she pulled the cord out of the plug forcefully and knocking the cardboard on the open flame.
So conversely to the Squiz I made several disparaging remarks to a Collingwood supporter about their intelligence while double whacking shit going up in flames.
I now have burnt cereal in the bin.

I work from home on Thursdays, and my street is now blocked off to all traffic as they are re-laying the asphalt. Can't wait for the fumes to hit me. Then there should be some interesting things going on around me

I'm running my first marathon next weekend.
The only good thing to come out of the GF loss was that my preparation wasn't hampered by excessive alcohol consumption.

Good luck brother! :thumbsu: I'm off on a 50km bike ride tomorrow morning. Then rehearsing with the band in the afternoon / night - before we get signed & have to tour all over the world - in the off season :D Looking forward to the Storm game on Sunday too!

Got exams coming up. Started revision today. If you could call it that...took notes on the first 3 lectures of one subject! Shit yeah! :D
Long couple weeks coming up.
Also sworn to not go out, spend money or drink alcohol until exams are over. Might actually save up some money and enjoy a couple Sunday's not hungover!

I am right next to the local oval in Sunbury, get enough people and we can have a full on game! I could probably borrow my dads keys (president of said club) to get access to footy's as well, win win! GO TEAM!
Well except the bench since she hates the town:p
Also good luck A2R.

Did you read 3 people died doing the marathon and half-marathon in Detroit recently? Was 5 degrees but maybe they should have stayed indoors regardless.
Well done though - I ran 6klm behind my wife and the dog trailer the other day (in preparation for fielding at 1st slip at cricket) and nearly karked it.

on the other hand A2R if you get 10 of those 10 cent tips that's a dollar.
Thats how I look at things myself anyway money wise.
Bloke i lived with was a pizza deliverer... he often told stories of "optional extra tips" involving nude women seducing the pizza delivery chap.
......... any good stories to share?
They would have to be fugly to want to stooge pizza though surely, I mean you wouldn't get someone actually worth seduction seducing you to get discount pizza since they wouldn't be eating the bloody things in the first place!

A little bit, but not really. More on the Calvin Cycle and plant/animal cells. Our sciences aren't very practical at all. It's pretty much all theory, and book work, which is shit. But i still enjoy it, weirdly.

Hahahha. Nothin of the sort yet.
Telling people that it's your first day always seems to scunge out a little more tips.
Best tip I've had was $7. I ended up making $15 worth of tips that night - was also my first night. Lead me into a false sense that it would be the norm lol. The most I've got since is about $10 and most of the time I'm lucky to make 5.
Funniest thing was when I was kneeling down fixing up the pizzas when the guy opened the door, he yells out 'whoooooooa!' I stand up and say 'wat?' He responds:
'I thought you were a ****ing midget'
lulz ensued.
Also when I left, he thanked me for the pizzas then 'for not being a midget.' :thumbsu:

Didn't initially understand the "Dougie" reference, but I think that is because I had successfully blocked that _ucker from my memory bank for all these years - thanks BBG :(
He rose to fame as Dougie the Pizza Boy, made headlines for his drug and alcohol-fuelled escapades and spent 77 weekends in jail.
