Looking for a bit of help and some ideas.
Am currently working with the board of my local to get a few more live bands in to play in our town.
Loxton, in the past, has been a bit of a dead zone for live performances, so we are trying to get something going.
It's going to be on Sundays, with an emphasis on relaxation.
Eventually we hope it will build up and we will get enough asupport that we can start getting bigger bands, ie; those on triple j tours etc.
I know there are some musos etc here : so what's the best way of promoting this and trying to get people in.
At the moment the bands we are talking to are recognised quality blues performers from Adelaide.
Any ideas on promotions and furture performers, usually from Adelaide, will be appreciated.
