Is this DVD available for sale in australa at all?
I can't find it anywhere
Thanks for your help.
It's not, but hopefully might be seeing a release soon.
They released it on blu-ray (of all formats) in America earlier this year, fingers crossed it comes out here soon.

As long as you have a DVD player that plays Zone 1's ( which most do) you can get it from here.
I have ordered from these guys before and with the Aussie $$ at good value as it is now it will be cheaper to get it here than your local JB when it gets an Australian release.. My orders from CD Universe have arrived in about 1 week and never had an issue with them.

I have it on Region 1. So many classic one-liners!!

What an awesome movie - the sequel was just as good as IMO.
I shall download it on the next download cycle.

I bought it on Ebay a few years ago from the US. One of my favourite movies, me and my mates used to constantly quote it. It took me years to find out that the copy I had taped off TV as a kid had all the swearing cut out.

Have to strongly disagree, thought the sequel was average at best but maybe I need to re-watch it, haven't seen it in many years.

I finally gave up on it being released in Australia and bought it in the States.
I have heard rumours about it being released both on DVD and Blu Ray for the last 18 months now, but all that is available is the pathetic ML 3 Back to the Minors.

The sequel is OK in its own right - it just doesn't quite measure up to the brilliance of the original. Some of it is a bit forced.
Make sure you get the right version of ML 1 - the versione we got for years on TV had been sanitised (two scenes were shot each time). The theatrical release has got multiple f-bombs and other language - which is how real baseball players talk. I got quite a surprise when I saw the 'original' (US video).
