In 2001, the creators of South Park came up with this satirical sitcom featuring George W. Bush and his family and friends going about the White House.
The humour was that the show wasn't a comic version of 'The West Wing', it reduced the comings and goings of the White House like a hackneyed sitcom, with the many standard cliches of the sitcom (lame obvious plotting, ridiculously over-the-top laugh track, one-liners galore) incorporated into the show.
I managed to catch an episode for the first time on SBS today at 3:30pm and found it pretty funny. Like South Park, it's something that should tire quickly but doesn't, not least in the episode I saw.
Better then 95% of the stuff that gets shown on TV these days. A pity they only made 8 episodes.
Has anyone else seen this show and what do they think of it?
