This TV movie was released on DVD in the USA last month (won't air on Syfy until January).

I found it a bit underwhelming - I was surprised how much of it was composed of old footage. Was interesting to see all the stuff about the cylons in the fleet, particularly Number One. The stuff about Number One on Caprica with Samuel Anders was less interesting. Probably have to watch it again to let it sink in better.

In all, a bit of a strange way to end a series :p

What I posted in another BSG thread:

I guess it was not supposed to be mind blowing, its basically a Cylon journal jumping through the show's timeline ... and I think it actually took the shine off the TV series much moreso than 'explained' various Cylon perspectives of things.

Very disappointing for mine. Olmos was saying that what we'd see will be shocking and make us want to rewatch every series again instantly...not sure much.
