Brother of Kamran and seems to be the more talented of the two. Is doing splendidly in NZ (though as I write this, he gets out), but certainly looks a great talent (and is 19 years old).

Will be interesting to see how he goes in the New Years Test ...

He isn't the first young Pakistani batsman to thrive early on in his career - it's later on that will be the key, but from what i've seen, he looks a great talent.

Thoughts on him?

Finally got my first look at him last week and I wasn't disappointed. Great innings under huge pressure, and for a kid on debut he coasted through the nineties with some unbelievable shots.

He'll be one of the few things to look forward to when Pakistan tour later this summer.

That being said, I'm not sure 3 is the spot for him just yet...

its a disgrace throwing him to the wolves like that, gonna kill his confidence already.

I'm not even sure he knows how to bat there. He was throwing the wood at everything today, but hey maybe it helps him considering he was castled trying to defend.

Probably has the best technique out of any of the current Pakistani batsmen.

Aamer is a gun, too.
