i kid you not, look at your calendar kids!

all i can say is from last years experience, our bombers couldn't possibly make it a worse day for me. 2002 was like my worst nightmare - well not my worst nightmare (i didn't turn up for an exam naked), but it was still pretty bad. Picture sitting out in the pouring rain, with no jacket, three collingwood supporters and a carlton supporter rubbing it in. I had to watch the pies win. I had to see my equal 6th favourite player get his arm broken. It gets worse though, much worse. I went to to the hotdog vendor, to get me a hotdog, and you wouldn't believe it - they were all out of hotdogs. Some little snot nosed kid picked up the last one just as i was entering. What kind of a hotdog vendor runs out of hotdogs....

anyway we'll get our revenge this year. hirdy will be on fire (not literaly - although with his injury record i wouldn't put it past him), mercs will be back to his best, pevrill will go crazy, lloydy's wife will leave him for me and buckley will win the anzac day medal in a losing collingwood side. Furthermore i will get myself a hotdog, a beer, some chips, a few more beers, a pack of smiths crisps, two or three more beers then take a break for quarter time.

Nothing could possibly be as bad as last years anzac day I sat in the second last row of the top deck of the Ponsford and got f**king p.issed on and i was surrounded by feral Collingwood supporters. One off which told me "we would have f*cking beat Brisbane in the Grandfinal" (very funny in hindsight). Worse thing was I was sober.

I will make sure I am mighty ****ed this time round,but i'm not very confident of victory,I don't rate Collingwood as highly as some but I just don't think we are playing well enough at the moment, although I did tip the pies in round 20 last year so hopefully we can have a repeat performance of that perhaps with Harvey kicking 5 instead of Gazza.
