...And then gave a free kick against him and called advantage when all the bombers players had stopped resulting in goal to the umpies,er, i mean maggies?
It's about time we won a game with McBurney umpiring though. We always seem to lose when he's umpiring.
Although if he wasn't umpiring we would have won by 100 points.

Yet again, another game where the free kick count has been SIGNIFICANTLY against, with some of the most crucial rulings coming at very important moments in the game.
I know this is becoming old hat around here, but can anyone look our supporters in the eye and tell us that the maggots aren't out to get us?
Funnily enough it almost seems to have made us play better football.
Thought the maggots were dreadful yesterday.....not much more I can say

All my mates believe that Essendon got well and truely *****ed by the umpires. Someone has to say something ... this has become beyond a joke. The statistics don't lie ... a total of 13 frees in our last 240 minutes of football is an utter disgrace!
How about the "mark" that got paid in the 2nd quarter? Collingwood got the best of the frees, but not all crap decisions went our way.

Typical effort by the umps, there was a passage of play where we should have received up to 5 free kicks, didn;t and Collingwood scroed a goal.
3 frees resulted directly in goals, but how many more were a result of frees down the ground that were ordinary at best.
