Quinten Lynch. A fan favourite.

In 2009, we utilised him in many different roles, and he filled each amnicably. 2010 could well define the 2nd half of the Big Q's career. Will he go back to being the gorilla forward with the trademark 65 meter bombs and the glove throw, or will he be more of a flanker type oversized midfielder?

As we begin to wade into the depth of the 2010 AFL season, Lynch is still trying to find his feet.

After kicking 2 goals in the first round, it came as a surprise to all when he was abruptly dropped from the side in favour of trialling Mitch Brown up forward. The reason? Too many inside 50's without bearing any fruit.

So, Q was WAFLbound.

Even then, he wasn't exactly a force to be reckoned with, quite often being played on the ball and scoring no more than one or two goals per game.

After both Brown and Hansen failed to contribute anything more to the forwardline, Lynch was recalled for the Derby, where he.. wasn't our best performer, put it that way. Woosha, however, praised his effort, and kept him in the side for the next game, Rd 7 vs Hawthorn.

Whilst Lynch didn't star, he did contribute two goals in our 8-point win. His kicking accuracy is still proving to be an issue.

Will Lynch find touch or will he be shipped back to the WAFL?
