Once known as Adam McFlee to Freo supporters, now the prodigal son has returned, and the moniker of McFlee is passed onto Essendon supporters for their use and abuse as they see fit. ;)

We now, of course, have crowned him Adam McFree... :)

He didn't want to leave Freo in the first place, he has been quite public in stating that over the years. I for one welcome the big fella. I think he has been criticised way too heavily on these boards since he left the Bombers.

Where does everyone see him playing? I dont want to see him in the back line as we have some good youngsters to continue to blood in there alongside Taz/McPharlin. Get the experience in them because I dont see Taz/McPharlin being there longer than a few more years.

I do actually see him as a midfielder rotating through half forward.

I see him as a flexible (fwd, back or mid) big bodied player which is great. Imo his recruiting should see relegation of Solomon to backup only.

I would prefer to see him forward with runs through the midfield on occasion - not needed in the backline.

I wonder who wrote his Wikipedia entry

"He is considered a versatile player who has played both as a forward and defender and is much admired for his aggressive approach at the football"

Am I missing something? Is there something wrong with that?

Yep seems pretty spot on to me.

It's not like it says he is admired fro his silky skills and flawless decision making.

Good interview. I loved the way he was very honest about his individual performances from last year.
