View Full Version : Hawks Greatest ever CHF
One word, Dermie. Okay i guess Dutchys been coming on for a while now, Alan Martello has sort of been overlooked (imho) and Young was supposedly a very fine player in the sixties (was named in the 83 retrospective side).
But they all pale before the 'kid'. If there are two clear choices in this side then Dermotts the one of them.
Thoughts?

I think you're being very unkind to Tim Allen.
The Kid - without question. The only challenger is that P Knights bloke.
wouldn't have thought we would even have to debate this Grendel http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif
Dermie by miles.

Dermie, Dipper and the Rat, while being top notch players, will be remembered as the great charachters of our sport. Their greatness coincided with TV exposure and international visits. Dipper is a household name in Ireland.
But let's debate #2 CHF if neccessary. If only to populate our B-side greatest (which would give a few other A-sides a run for their money.

What is wrong with Jason Taylor? As he wasn't offered as an option I will vote for Brereton .
