After watching Clarke's 166 I don't remember there being any chances to get him out, aside from a few flying past the edge of the bat but they aren't chances if they aren't nicked.

What's the highest score you can remember where the batsman didn't offer one chance in his entire innings?

Yeah, that was the impressive thing, he was solid throughout.

Braddles would have carved out a few I reckon.

Ponting's 120 odd against England at the GABBA when Hayden made 197.

Laxman 281 against us in Calcutta. Closest we came from memory were a couple of LBW shouts from Ponting's medium pace inswingers, both were close but hit him outside the line.

Other than that we didn't look like getting him out, One of the greatest innings ever considering the context.

Indeed. This is the one that immediately sprang to my mind:

Lara's 277 at the SCG was chanceless, I believe. Even more so given the fact that he was only dismissed by run out.

wasn't tubby's 334 pretty much chanceless too?

No he was dropped early in his innings. They had a segment on it the other day in either the lunch or tea break.

Jayawardene made 374 which was chanceless.

can't remember if Lara's 400 or Haydens 380 were chanceless? Maybe Haydens?

Had gave a couple of chances after reaching 300 from memory, not sure if any before hand.

Bradman?
from what i heard about bradman, he rarely hit the ball in the air, so many of his double centuries were possibly chanceless..
