View Full Version : Big Brother - Do you watch it? Do you have a life?
Have to ask about Big Brother...
I saw about 10 mins of an episode the other night while I was on the at the gym. I listed to the audio for a few minutes and I have to say it's the lamest thing out and about (I suppose that's nothing new to most people).
So why do people watch it continuously? Do these people have a life? Are they living out some kind of vicarious means through the show? Tell me, if you watch it, why are you watching it?

Haven't seen it yet.
Went and had a look at the website on Sunday night out of curiosity to see what kind of people they put in there and there was a picture of a woman that looked like a horse staring back, pretty scary. Is that the token lesbian?

Absolutely bloody hate it!! Gretel Killeen has a lot to answer for. And it s hits me how they bump one of the greatest shows ever, Seinfeld, every time BB comes back. BB is utter, brainless tripe.

I watched abit of it but is t just me or is it getting boring.Ive gone back to watching home and away ive been that bored with the new series.Not happy theres only so many big brother series you can have have and hopefully this will be the last one.

Big Brother has to be the saddest program of all time. I don't understand how people can watch this trash. You obviously have no life whatsoever if you take pleasure in watching a bunch of misfits live in their little house. I'm sure this means Big Brother uncut will polute the airways soon too. The addicted usually spend their days on the internet reading what happens minute by minute too...sad indeed
It's funny how everyone hates it yet it still rates so strongly.

Have to agree with you !!!!!!!! Good signs in that the ratings are down meaning a 4th series is unlikely.
Anthony Mason is a legend !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is brutal but a great journeyman of the NBA ! He rules !!!!!!!!!!!!

Opening day in Adelaide it rated through the roof. Pretty much because of novelty value due to the teaser campaign that had been running for weeks, "Will there be?,Won't there be?, etc."
280,000 on the first night and 93,000 by the third. Beaten by Frasier. I saw an ad for it and it looks so incredibly laboured, all these sad types trying to pretend they have interesting lives.

last time i waste anymore time on that one. i see wot they mean on the radio now how they complain that not enough footage of the housemates is being shown. Instead its interviews with past big bro housemates and producers and cameramen, i mean c'mon who they hell is gonna be entertained by that...i even watched 60 minutes and found it better

Don't watch it, but tell me you wouldn't try and get on the show with the money on offer. Dunno how much it is, but it's a fair amount, and to get that for being a nob for a couple of months isn't that bad. And if you fail, you can always get a part on Neighbours or bring out your own single that you don't even sing.

i can't believe so many people watch this.
was just watching the ten news, and to my shock there was a "Big Borther Up Late" program on.
I dont know if this was on in past series, but this has gone to far.
Someone please tell me what is good about this show??
