EKA....is it possible to have more than 6 Supps? As VOR and Geonet also want to play??

Nah but seriously I'll throw my vote behind anyone who has the experience in terms of virtual games behind them for the captaincy.
As for team name , It should incorporate Eagles or West Coast since essentially that's who we all are. Im assuming from the website that barely worked that all teams get colours and a guernsey. Good thing is we've already got half a million possible variations on an Eagles guernsey thanks to you know who and their ochre-free campaign ;)
Oh and do we get to pick Guernsey numbers? If so I wanna have 666, or if we have to be sensible and so forth I'd like to have number 5 :)

sorry only 5 sups allowed for a total squad of 25:) They miss out unfortunately

all i can say is soon, depends how organised the captains needing 1-4 players are. It SHOULD take them less than a day to get numbers but on past history it'll require my intervening to help out:S

If we need a Vice Captain, ill throw my hat in the ring for that job ;)
Has a name been given to our team yet - or am I coming in too late again.
I'll put forward The Flying Eagles, West Coast Flyers, and for Captain Jod23 and Iceman for Vice Captain. No need to nominate guernseys or colours - Plenty to pick from !

Jod should be Captain seeing he has been one in a fantasy side. It's only the best thing to do.
Not too sure on the name though. We can have something as West Coast or Western, but an icon will be the hard part.

Im happy to take the captaincy if you all agree. As for the name I like West Coast Flyers which was suggested by Raelene. Iceman for VC, just because he wants it so much :D
Oh and another thing...I need positions for each because with form and matchups I will be changing things from game to game. This is from what I can tell, please advise me if I am wrong.

Ok I need the following, defenders and forwards who arent in Key Positions I need to know if you are a small forward, small defender or a tall forward, tall defender. That way for example if Iceman has a shocking run of form at CHF I can replace him with a tall.
Also need to know if any defenders or forwards fancy themselves as ok midfielders so if anybody has some bad form, you may get a gig through the middle. Who is second ruck? MrEagle loses form, then your in!
Last but not least, those on the bench and supps waiting for a game, I need to know your positions so I can put you into your preferred positions if you can break your way into the side.

I'll put my hand up for emergancy ruck. I played a lot of my junior footy there with long periods resting in the forward line. ;)

i'm more your smart Forward pocket, half forward flank. not overly quick, but having "football smarts" ... talk myself up eh?!

allright, lets get it on, right in the middle of the ground!!
I'll assume the mantle of the tall, laconic defender who always looks like he's not trying when he has a bad game. Can probably hold down a key defensive position if someone's having a shocker.
As a career defender, it'd be unwise to play me in the forward line - I can hit a target quite nicely whilst streaming out of defence, but any set shot from outside 15m will be sprayed out of bounds. The phrase "kicked it like a backman" was coined by my coach in the Under-8's.

I'm the best orange carrier in the league.
Seriously - I'm your rebounding half-back-flanker who can play midfield if there's a need. I can also hoof the (very) occasional goal from 50m.

at 5'10 and 1/2, damm straight i'm a small forward.

I'm a small fast forward flanker. Sometimes I run so fast, I meet myself coming back! something on the lines of one Ph. Matera, so I can go into centre if needed.

Starting in my preferred position at the moment
Can go to half-back, or into any non key-position really.
Oh and if you want niggle I'd be happy to tag players through the midfield :D
Your not keeping them coming??
Put a deadline for the rest, if they dont put in their preferred position, then just make up a profile for them, depending on what type of player/positions we need

Pressure on positions and we haven't even played a game yet!
FB that can go to CHB (for the right matchup) and be swung to FF to mix things up. 191cm, 93kg - 28yo.
I'm a FF. Probably the Scott Cummings type (as I'm a little partial to my food :))

Ok everyone you have until Monday to give me your preferred position or where you would like to play etc...all those who give me nothing I will just make up on the spot.
On Tuesday after you all give me your preferred spots or I have to make them up I will post them up on BF so you know what role you will play at the club this season.
Uh....we still need a name?? Some help would be handy.

sorry I'm late.
my actual hight and wieght is 177cm and 74kg
unselfish player, very quick in bursts, good tackler, not scared to take a hit or two and reasonable over head. Make of that what you will. ;)

West Coast Flyers is probably the best of those 3
What about West Coast Soarers?
Soemthing along those lines, Kings and Magic dont really feel right to me
West Coast Magic sounds good to me, best out of that lot.... West Coast Kings isnt too bad as an alternative
