Almost every Hawks supporter I've talked to has a huge opinion of this kid, so this is a genuine query, and I'm not bagging the bloke...

Today's game vs Fremantle was the first opportunity I've had to see him play - I wasn't too impressed, but I will reserve my judgment until I've seen more.

My question is, who the hell taught him how to kick? That is a terrible kicking style, and much like his brother, his kicking lacks any penetration because of it.

What I would also like to know is, what has he done to impress large section of the Hawthorn faithul? Serious question, remember!

Just give him a chance. We gave McCabe about 6yrs to make him a footballer, give Clarke a least two and he'll be better than McCabe.

Darky, he isnt an overly long kick, but he is very acurate (except for that missed goal in the last) i dont think ive seen him miss a target yet.

His running is not exceptional, its better than that. Its phenomenal. Truly you have to see him 'live' to appreciate the ground he covers and the contests he gets too.

Great courage for a bloke his size, reads the play like hes played a hundred games. Just a fantastic young player. This years Norwich without doubt imho. Will have a Brownlow around his neck one day too! http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

Seriously, the kid is one out of the box and im so glad hes a Hawk.

Cheers

ps, your boys Harris and Smith are not to shabby either (no Tim Clarke's though!) http://www.bigfooty.com/ubb/wink.gif

Apparently he can lap Chicky in a 1500m race, i like the way he runs , his brother is a gun for geelong and he is on his way as well, maybe one day we could have both clarke boys, dreaming i think
