Reading an article about Banners today and I notice that not only is it his 200th Game, but it is also Gardy's 100th. Is that right? If that is so there will have to be an extra special effort for the two of them.

Saw the article in the Sunday Times and was surprised that he was up to his 200th match, it only seems like a few years since he joined the club.

Did feel a bit surprised by the Times quoting Banners as the best ever number one. I thought Gardy would have to be that choice.

No disrespect to Banners. :)

Banfield easily over Gardiner. Banners has a premiership medallion, a club B&F and 200games (199 technically). But I have no doubts Gardiner will have the better career.

i agree D4E. while gardi might be a betterplayer at the moment Banners is a proven performer over a number of seasons.

Congrats to Banners...joining an exclusive club at WC. I think we will see many more from Banfield too as he has been very good so far this season. Wouldnt surprise me if he went on to 250+

Gardiner has taken his time to get to 100...injuries and so forth getting in the way a little. IIRC he came to the club a year after Cousins and Cuz has played 51 more games.

Hopefully we can notch up a win for their milestone. Well done to Banners on reaching the 200 after there was so much pressure on him last season

Well done to Banners for his upcoming 200th game. I thought he was finished after having a poor year after his knee reconstruction, but he's proved that he's still a valuable contributer to the side.

I think many people were calling for his head last season, including myself at times (i admit it)

Has really turned it around tho, well done to him
