A Test star was born that day and, although still in the early stages of a career, everyone knows this rough diamond from the bush has all the ingredients to become one of the game's greats.
The only thing that will stop him from becoming a truly great fast bowler up there with McGrath, Lillee, Lindwall and co. will be his body. If his back can recover fully from this latest setback and rebuild he will easily match numbers with the greats.

The mind truly boggles. Hmm, I wonder if Darren Berry would be rating Siddle (Peter, right?) as potentially up there with McGrath, Lillee and Lindwall if he was playing for NSW?
The fact that Berry apparently gets paid to write this 'column' is a grievous affront to every unemployed person on earth.

How come you guys didn't say why you don't have a go at Waugh. He's way worse yet he gets no mention. Steve Smith to play in NZ tests :rolleyes: yeah right.

Look I don't actually think Siddle is that bad, and his recent form slump can be excused given the injury he's been carrying, but to compare him to those blokes at this stage of his career is both pathetic and embarrassing, even for somebody as repeatedly pathetic and embarrassing as Berry.

If it's ok for some other guy who I'm not allowed to mention then why's not ok for Berry to do the same.

Take what he says with a grain of salt. He has always been like that and always will. Get used to it.

Don't think this one will go anywhere, it certainly hasn't started well. Berry wears his Victoria hat proud, everyone knows that.
