After discussions with OldMav and ant555, we're unanimous in saying that a fourth moderator is needed for the Essendon Board. We all have limitations on our ability to moderate fully due to various reasons, so a fourth full moderator is the solution.
In order to be considered, you need
To be 21 or older. I know I'm not, but if you were any younger, you'd be a Spec Mod, and we need a full mod, rather than another Spec Mod.
To have a reasonably clean infraction history. It doesn't have to be perfect, but a red card every couple of months isn't what we're looking for.
To have the time to moderate the board. You don't need to be online all day, but 1-2 hours per day is essential. Obviously things come up in real life, but you do need to be online pretty regularly when things are normal.
To be willing to moderate the board. A bit of hard work is required, but the pay and the benefits (;)) are amazing.:p
So if you want to be considered for the role, post here, or send me a PM, and we'll pick the best candidate.

I don't meet all your needs but you know I am able to offer my services, I have been a Spec Mod for a while, so I have some sort of experience.

I am a graphics design and e-media student at the moment, I can't do much for the next few months as I have a broken femur, so am at my computer all day.
I am on Bigfooty 3+ hours a day usually.
My main problem is that I have had a red card in the recent past.
Anyhow, let me know what you think, and if you believe I am suitable.

At this point in time, no, no I don't. Although I have a wedding coming up this weekend which will most likely involve bad dancing with a high possibility of limb breakage.

A person who reads more then posts has its benifits for the board. Bias or heated spur of the moment decsions arent made and can have a calming effect on the board.

I think there's been some BF vs BB stuff going on with ant555. Reckons he gets treated badly on here, and also wasn't posting on BB cos of the crap he copped. Personally think that suggests he needs to have a tougher skin - the internet is the internet.

100% Agreed, I can't think of many posters that I occasionally search by poster for a good read, Ant is one of them.
Usually the posters on Bigfooty offer an opinion, Ant on the other hand offers insightful knowledge of the players and the game

Sorry to disapoint anyone but im moving on. There are a few issues i do not see eye to eye with with part of the admin so it is best for both if i stand down.
Im sure there are many who are glad i am gone as well. It is not like i have the most warm and fuzzy approach to all.
As i wont be moderating here i will be moving on to a few other projects which will require my time somehwere else so it will be likely that i won't be posting here. The last few years BB was the casualty of the time restraints , this time around it appears it will be BF.
Like i said before some will be glad i am gone as well , new mods will come in. Im sure they will do the job to the best of their ability and new posters will come on board and maybe some old one will come back.
