Seems I recall the pathetic channel 10 commentators making a big deal over Kasey Green tangling with a field umpire after one of Chick's Goals.
Anybody hear anything more?

If Kasey gets reported I will really crack the ****s. He was running towards a teammate to celebrate a goal, the umpire changed direction and they collided. Kasey grabbed the umpire to stop him falling over, and apologised immediately. If this goes to the tribunal it will prove what a joke this law has become.
Doubt anything will come of it.

Jeff White has been booked for making contact with an umpire. You'd expect that if Green was also going to be booked, he would have been by now.

According to the West, there seems no report on Green, so we may be lucky here.

ssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
Don't mention that.
The AFL need to sort this soap opera out:
A) intentional contact - throw book at player for as long as you like
B) accident, part of life, common sense, move on.

Kasey Green wasn't reported and won't be reported either, simply because it was the umpire's fault.
He shouldnt be reported and neither should Jeff White
This contact with the umpire issue is getting out of hand

Did the umpire tell you that first hand?? Or was it someone from higher up within the AFL ranks?

Yeh I heard that ! - cant remember which commentator it was, but it was definately reiterated for the sole purpose to get green in trouble.
Its bad enough having to listen to these biased nobodies call our games without having them trying to dob our blokes in.

Last night i was watching 'On the Couch' and they mentioned it a fair bit. They try and play the whole incident down but its not helping when you show a hundred replays of the incident

Of course you were, how foolish of me.
When are the umpires going to be made accountable for getting in the way of the players?
