Weekly Observations

* Whilst the top 3 remain the same, the dynamics of the top 5 change dramatically with the Melbourne master tipper daddy_4_eyes and Voice Of Reason overtaking Mr Eagle and jod23.

* Two late tips from Goldenblue and carneagles were accepted, but it came with a 10,000 penalty for missing the deadline.

* Au_Blue#24 and TheRealBuzz look like they are under a Ken Judge influence with those crowd tipping scores. Having said that it does hurt when you don't put your tips in boys!

Tipping Deadlines

I'm looking for some feedback on when I should make the crowd tipping deadline. In the past I've made it 6pm the night before the match, however a few have posted their tips after this time.

Should I change It to say 10am the morning of the match (for those who want to go online and tip before the game?) I'll probably trial this for the upcoming game, but would love some feedback on this :)

I think it should be 3 hours before the start of the game.

I picked 10am because thats Midday over east and since bouncedown is at 1.40pm I thought that was a good middle ground.

Leave it at 6pm the day before. Someone who puts their tips in the day before the game expecting it to be sunny is at a disadvantage to someone who puts their tips in 3hrs before the game knowing that its pouring rain (ok, an extreme example, but you get the point). Not everyone has access to the net whenever they feel like it, and I think 5-6 days to get your tips in is more than enough time.

On match day would be good but a lot of posters may have work etc on weekends
