View Full Version : Collica
I thought after his injury he would slot straight into our 22. Anyone else found it interesting that he hasn't been put straight back in? Maybe just giving him some time to get match fitness?

It would definitely be only for match fitness I think. Seeing as though he got injured before rd 1, Worsfold would probably give him 2 or 3 weeks in the WAFL.
How many weeks now has he played in the WAFL?
I thought woosha liked collica? Woosha was prolly just getting the guy match fit before he brought him back in. Id expect to see him back either this week or next

Hmm, be interesting to see if he is named tomorrow night. I hope so, I think he adds some real stability to our backline and would welcome his return.
Collica is important to our backline IMO.
Does a great job week in week out and adds a bit of stability

With Chad Morrison and Kasey Green playing pretty decent negating footy at the moment I don't see how Collica could get a run. The two mentioned have done nothing to warrant being dropped from the side.

west coast has adopted a policy of only playing players who have performed in the WAFL. Just look at who long Read had to wait.
Collica will firstly need to get back a bit of match fitness and then perform well for 2 or 3 weeks.

I think in the case of Wooden it comes down to Cuz, Kerr, Fletcher, Judd and Embley all being our prime attacking onballers and Chicky and Read being better negators or taggers as they can rack up a lot more handy touches than Josh.

I think Collica needs a few more games in the WAFL to get some match practice in. Woosha doesn't seem to be the type of coach who will add someone to the team unless they have proved their fitness and quality in the WAFL.
Having a full list of 40 gives us the added bonus of more players competing to get into the final 22 each week, giving us greater depth.
