Anthony Corrie, the club’s fourth pick in the 2002 AFL National Draft from Darwin and winner of the B&F medal at last year’s national U18 carnival, will be sidelined for six-eight weeks following surgery to repair a badly damaged tendon in his finger. He was released from hospital thursday after surgery on Wednesday.

Joel managed to get a run yesterday, played a blinder.
Unfortunately Grammy didn't play, he didn't really train that much this week some sort of leg injury I think.

And now Dylan's done his ankle. Shame that. The lad was on fire. Not sure of the seriousness.
Morro heroically carried a jumper full of ribs through the entire game and still starred.
How did Morro wear his shirt full of ribs, is he ok.
Did Bushy play.

Southport played an overtly physical match and Morro copped a heavy knock to the side early on, but carried on like the trooper he is; clearly in great discomfort.
Bushie travelled with the senior side to Sydney.
I was in Sydney for the weekend, so didn't see the Ressies game. How'd we play & who won?

We won. It was a hard game, we have a few injuries, so close to half the side were ring-ins. But the boys toughed it out and came away with the 4 points. One of there best wins in awhile.

Some disappointing news for Jason Gram who is undergoing exploratory surgery on a knee today.
He is likely to miss up to a month, after rebounding brilliantly from half-back over the past four weeks.
The Lions will be keeping their fingers crossed that their other ruckmen stay healthy at training during the week, with an injury cloud over Dylan McLaren.
McLaren rolled an ankle during the Lions Reserves’ strong win over Southport on Saturday. He will be tested later in the week.
